On the Dedication Plaque:
"This dedication is in honor of Dr. Frederick Leysieffer’s contributions to the field of statistical mathematics and for his service as an educator and administrator at Florida State University. This relief has been constructed to physically represent the decision paths used in statistical models. The elements of the composition expand, overlap, and reform to create unique pathways across the space; these branches begin around the dedication and flow out to hundreds of tripart terminal points. "
